Lots of Devils Toenails on the foreshore. Heavy rais have brought down quite a lot of the clay from the cliffs containing hundreds of very small Ammonites and pieces of Aegocriocers.

Parked at speeton church and took the signposted walk to Speeton sands. NOT suitable for young children. very steep in parts, lots of bramles to negotiate, descent to beach very crumbly and slippy. However once you reach the beach, fabulous, we found ammonite, kids thrilled. 16th August 2008

\\\\\\\\\if you park at Reighton gap Caravan site (small car park) It's a lot easier to get to beach, then walk on to the clay.
