I have visited trearne 3 times now, i have found some small horn corals not sure of a id on them though and some brachipods (productus)also got plenty of crinoid pieces and 4 really small pieces of coral, with fantastic detail.

went to trearne today, iv gotta say it really is pretty dodgy at the moment, alot of big quarry machinery, very unstable faces and massive piles of loose boulders, plus everything has a coating of thick rockdust so fossils are near impossible to see anyway, if you do go make sure its not a day the quarry is operating or get permission from the foreman, and definately do not take kids as its dangerous.

Dear moonmoth, how exactly should I go about getting permission to access this site? Is there an e-mail address or telephone number I can call? |
