Saturday 28th November - I ventured out in the driving rain and the freezing cold and wet weather with my Daddy and Uncle. we got very muddy but discovered a haul of various fossils including belemnites and imprints of ammonites. We think we need to return in the dryer weather to find some more. It was very worthwhile and I am pleased we went on our discovery. Smile  I would give this site 8 out 10.

Very nice finds Tatiana, It's a  great place to find fossils, although it's about 5 years since I was there!
I can't help you with ID's as I don't have access to my books at the moment, but I'm sure someone who has a copy of ' Fossils of the Oxford clay' will be able to help you with your patial jaws.
Once again, well done!

Hi Tatiana,
I think they are pieces of shark fin spine. Very nice they are too.
This one below is from a Hybodus sp. shark, from the Lower Cretaceous, Weald Clay.  It's different to yours, but you can see the similarity.
