Members of the discussion board and UK Fossils Team will try to identify the find for you. We also choose a selection of fossils from this site for inclusion in Deposits Magazine. by posting on this board, you automatically give us permission to print your photo. All photos will be credited in the recent find page of Deposits.

We have changed the way we deal with recent finds as we were getting so many, we have decided to have a special dedicated area of our forum website, so that experts can also help identify or comment on your find for you. You can keep an eye on the forum from the link. This also keeps a scientific record of the finds all in one place publically for everyone can see. So many important fossils are never known about because people don't realise their importance.
