I recently went on a trip to Helmsdale in Scotland, I found a large sandstone rock and after splitting it down the middle it revealed the fossils in the attached photos. I’m unsure of what it may be but it looks like bones to me

Hi RustyB and welcome; not bone, I'm afraid, but belemnites (Google it - they're actually the remains of a squid-like creature) - presumably Jurassic from that location.
