Had these a few weeks and always have the same issue... bone or wood as they look very similar, one looks like ribs or could be plant material but the back reminds me of Gyrosteus bone, other looks like Ichthyosaur rostrum but could be wood, any suggestions ? Thanks.

Hello, the upper bit looks like bone and the lower like wood.
But that is only the impression I get from the picture...
The crossections of where the bits are broken should normally tell; can you make a photo of these crossections?

Port Mulgrave, think top is Gyrosteus and bottom is wood by the looks. Thanks
