Did you have a chance to look at Pakefield?

Hello all,
We're going to the Norfolk Broads this summer, and have discovered that a mouth to one of the rivers there is right next to Pakefield. We'd love to go, but don't know what access is like there, as we've checked the locations page and, whilst the fossils are amazing, the last time it was updated was about eight years ago. Does anyone have any more recent updates for us?
Thanks, VF

Hi VF, I live near there and the last time I was there it was very poor as the sea is not getting anywhere near the cliffs, just lots of sand and shingle.

Thanks, Firlands. I guess we'll just give it a try and see how it is. Hopefully we'll have a thing or two to come back with!
In relation to what you just said, would we not have to consult a tide book before going to collect, as the sea would be far enough out anyway?
Thanks, VF

Good luck Vf,  you won't need a tide book as you can walk from pakefield to kessingland any time of the day.
