Hi all, could this be an ammonite? Found near Watchet in Somerset. I do usually find ammonites but they normally have straight lines between the chambers.

A picture might help [wink] But if it's from Watchet then, yes, it's very likely to be an ammonite.

FWIW ammonites usually have wiggly lines (sutures) marking the division between chambers. Goniatites and nautiloids have "straight" lines.
