Hi everybody,

can anybody identify this tooth? I know there are a lot of cow and sheep remains on the South Bank by Blackfriars but this one appears much much larger. I know there were rhino and hippo here 1000s of years ago. I would not like to date it but it looks older than anything I’ve come across.

Thanks in advance

Gareth

We would need to see the top (biting) surface. Incidentally, I'm not sure that a credit /
debit card is a good idea as a scale - far better to use a ruler!
