Anyone got any ideas on this found in the Millipore bed at Cloughton was looking for horseshoe crab trace fossils but this is in a marine bed? The only thing that comes to mind is a scaphopod.

Here's a xiphosurid mark from the Westbury formation (Westbury on Severn). Associated with coastal storm event sand sedimentation.
Looks a lot like the mark you've found.

Please post pics of any bona fide H S crab trace fossils, would be interesting to compare with the Westbury stuff.
