Hi there,
I’m currently excavating my garden for a new patio and came across two objects that initially have an appearance of wood but seems like it might actually be old bone. They both have a hollow centre.
One is broken but approx 2inches long, the other also broken and is closer to three inches and much wider.
I’m sure it’s probably nothing exciting but just curious to see anyway.
Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forum. It certainly looks like bone. I assume it's from the soil rather than 'bedrock' so almost certainly recent.

Thank you prep01 ☺️ Just wanted to be sure it wasn’t worth putting aside. 👍
