Possibly a vertebra of a marine reptile - that sort of shape! I wouldn't hammer it just yet!

Not sure, it possibly looks like vertebrae, maybe if we had different angled pictures?
Let their be fossils!

I'm pretty sure this isn't a vertebrae but side views would help the ID. Does it have a honeycombe texture, if so it could be bone.

If you don't look, you won't find.

Marlene, it would have to be prepped/ investigated with airtools/handtools.

the thing with this one is i can see a small dark line all the way around the thin edge, im not to sure if i heard some one right, but i was told that if you see a seam around some thing it is possible its an ammonite. is this true? or is it just a case of cracking it open?
