Found these on the beach at Redcar while dog walking. Thought they looked interesting. Are they fossils?

Hello and welcome to the forum. All I can see from enlarging your photo are a few pieces of broken shell, but yes, they are still fossils.

Thank you. The thing that caught my attention with the top object was the difference in colour of the inside to the out. More noticeable when it was wet, but would that be geological

I think you are referring to the annotated object(below). I think this is 'a stone' incorperated into the nodule.
