Welcome to the forum! Not fossils I'm afraid but U-shaped borings made by a modern marine worm (maybe a species of Polydora). This particular kind often concentrates along planes of weakness in the rock, parallel to the shale bedding in this case. They're often found complete with living worms in the intertidal zone but don't last long once exposed..
