Dirty Pete
The causeway at Aust has been cleared. Plenty of bone bed lying around, mainly at the base of the upstream cliff if anyone's interested. Found this fragment of a ceratodus tooth plate for my troubles, sadly only one lobe.....It's been many years since I've found one.

Hi Pete, nice. By the way, what’s the diameter of a 20p coin. Just asking so I can roughly work out the size of the fragment ðŸ˜‰
Cheers, Bill

Hi Bill, forgot everyone's contactless plastic these days. I still use cash, don't want the banksters knowing where I've been and what I've bought...😋
The fragments 3.2 cm x 3.2 cm. 20p coin is 2cm near as damn it.
Cheers
Pete.

Here's what I've found over the years, lot of variation.

I haven't found a decent one in years either Pete. Strange that it used to be called the Ceratodus beds many moons ago.

At work I have to make a lot of sacrifices.
It's one of the benefits of being a Druid.
