HI I found this recently on Monmouth Beach, Lyme Regis. It is a flint nodule. I suspect it is banded flint, but maybe someone can see something else there? 20200831_135853cropped.jpg

May look a bit like an ammonite in section but it isn't it is a banded flint.

Banded flint must be one of the most common pseudofossils, along with cone-in-cone.
