Found this at Penarth, I reckon its probably a bit of rib, but the ends which would attach to a vert look too elongated, any ideas?

Hmm, not sure that's a rib at all - it seems very shallow too.

Hi Bow,

This looks identical to a belemnite, the only thing that would put a bit f doubt in my mind is the rock composition.

Bow's is definitely bone, it doesn't have the prismatic calcite structure of yours which is of course definitely belemnite.
