Hello Claire and welcome to the forum. I have had a look at your photos and I'm afraid I cannot see any sign of a fossil. Is there a part of it you think might be fossil?

Hi as Colin says it does not look like a fossil, it could be a very worn more recent bit of hone, without holding it to see more detail it is a long shot guess.
