PS some kind of scale indicator and saying where you found things is often a big help in IDing things.

Yes, it's bone - quite heavily eroded by wave action tumbling it around on the foreshore. Typical of the bone one finds between Trimingham and Cromer. Probably a bit of the surface of a rib or long-bone of some Ice-Age beastie but alas not sufficiently diagnostic to identify which.
