Bobo the bear
Cleaned all the dark Speeton clay from this piece now. Thought it was wood sticking out of the clay but now I am not so sure. It has a hard outer layer with a fossil shell sticking to it. The top and bottom has porous sections and just plain stuff in between and the inner dark material has shiny Bronze streaks in it. It is around 12 cm x 9 cm x 4 cm.
A confirmation either way would be good. IMG_20190925_180435.jpg  IMG_20190925_180449.jpg  IMG_20190925_180516.jpg  IMG_20190925_180532.jpg

Wood - the 'bronze' will be Pyrite.
