Just back from Seatown beach, first bone I've found in this matrix. Pound included for scale. Any suggestions what bone this might be, ichthyosaur rib ? Only hoping that with the possible flaring at each end might be something else ?

Hi Gareth, as you say, a lot going on in that block! I think your 'main' subject is bone, but I can't see the cross section well enough to be certain. A pime canditate for prepping!
