Hi all,

Few finds from yesterday afternoon at Penarth if anyone interested.

I think the biggest one is a plesiosaur vert - I've wanted to find one of these all year, and couldn't believe it as this one was less than 1m from the concrete slipway / access to the beach!  Last pic shows where I found it (next to the big clump of seaweed).

Smaller vert Icthy, this was in a larger block which I managed to break down.

The other bone I think is rib from plesiosaur?

Cheers

Matthew

Thanks Richard! I've not been to Aust for ages actually, life has got in the way of fossils recently! Sounds like you've had some good finds?

like the old saying..... Aust can be feast or famine all about being in the right place at the right time! a few visits have been pleasing though due to the relentless rain! cliff will probably start stabilizing a bit if weather on the up....
