I recently went on a trip to Helmsdale in Scotland, I found a large sandstone rock and after splitting it down the middle it revealed the fossils in the attached photos. Hi RustyB and welcome; not bone, I'm afraid, but belemnites (Google it - they're actually the remains of a squid-like creature) - presumably Jurassic from that location.
