I found this at Lyme. It first caught my eye as an ammonite imprint - but turning it over I found several small items that look like "teeth". There are also several flecks of iron pyrite - but they don't show too well but glisten nicely in the light. The item is placed alongside a 5p piece for scale.

I know what I would like them to be - I was hoping someone could confirm or debunk my suspicions

Welcome to the forum. They're belemnites I'm afraid, not teeth. [smile]

Got loads of belemnites in various forms - they just looked a little different
