We found this a few years ago in a river near Hertford and have struggled to find out what it is exactly. I was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to help with any knowledge. Many thanks. Looks like an oddly shaped flint nodule, the white coloured bits some residual patination. It may have a biogenic origin but I have no idea what.

Cheers
