Hi
My son found this fossilized tooth in a field near Ipswich, Suffolk. Does anyone know what creature it may have come from?
Thanks

Tooth shaped piece of banded flint in my humble opinion.

Hello Gaily and welcome to the forum. Pete is quite correct in saying that this is 'banded flint'. I suggest you search for 'banded flint' and you can learn all about it.
