On a short break to the Peak District (an area previously unknown to me) I saw this block in a wall near Matlock. Presumably it is Lower Carboniferous and the nearest to it in British Palaeozoic Fossils is the coral Palaeosmilia sp. Can anyone please confirm / correct the ID. Thanks.

Forgot to include scale - this is the whole block and it is about 30 - 35 cm wide.

Nicely spotted - a treat to see!
