Hi all

I found this today and unsure as to what I've found.

Maybe prodac or lytoceras? Found at black ven

I'll have a go at prep tomorrow and see what's what

From what I can see it's about 2-3cm wide

Cheers
Adam

Could it be Liparoceras? On the first pic there seems to be a spine protruding from the top flank of the critter

Anywhere for little ammonites, twice as far for big ones!

There seems to be something, but it's not a fat ammo like a lipo. It's the same width all the way around. The spike had me thinking prodac but shouldn't really be where I found it if that's the case

There is a thin wedge of Seatown Marl Member (Green Ammonite Beds) at the east end of Black Ven so a Prodac is possible.
