Found this imprint in sandstone at a local beach yesterday and was looking for some other opinions as to whether this is a dinosaur footprint. Apparently finds like these are rare on the Scottish mainland? Thanks in advance. Brittle Star

Deposits mag did an article about Scottish dinosaurs. Comparing the holes in the rock there are others not associated with the 3 which are apparently looking like a footprint. You would need to find out what dinosaurs were around at the time of the rock formation and compare any photographs you can find online or consult a museum.
Others on here may know but I am coming down on the side of natural erosion. I am probably wrong I hope I am.
