This is a superb display multifossil limestone block containing several single valves of this very delicate bivalve (scallop). Prepared by me using an air abrader, this block contains more valves than the example in The Sedgewick museum, Cambridge where I compared it. The ornamentation can be seen under magnification.
The specimen has a cut base and and 2 felt pads to stop scratching.
