Hi all....just got back from the Dorset coast....had a great week...managed to get to most of the usual spots around Lyme & Charmouth, went as far along as Thornecombe Beacon, which was fun & quite productive...but found the most bits in a farmers hedgerow near Beaminster, behind where he'd just put in a new boundary fence,& gave us permission to go through the rocks that he'd dug out to put the fence posts in...didn't even need a hammer, fossils were just laying on the ground...which was nice

Here's a pic of some of the bits i found...started prepping some of them whilst i was down there...

Hi Jason, looks like you have some nice bits there, how lucky you where to see that farmer digging.

What's in the Rock directly above the largest grey rock? Looks like bone but can't quite make it out.

Nice haul.

That looks like a great haul! It would be nice if you could give us a closer look at some of them once you get them prepped.
Best wishes from the Lake of Constance. Roger.

Nice haul.

It's a crushed Belemnite Phragmocone in a green nodule from Golden Cap...

I'll post more pics as things get prepped.

Hi Jason,

nice to bump into another forum member (twice!).
That's a decent haul you've got there and quite a varied range as well.
Well done.
Pete

At work I have to make a lot of sacrifices.
It's one of the benefits of being a Druid.
