I can't claim all the credit for the prep work - my good friend Dave (Lawnmower) is owed much of the credit for smoothing off the matrix. Here is a close up of the keelP8010131.JPG

Found on Sunday as a glacial erratic on the Holderness coast was this Echioceras multi block. (I think its Echioceras anyway). 1cm scale bar

Great find Andy, beautiful preparation.

It may be a Echioceras, but I think Paltechioceras is a possibility.

A rare multi block which ever it is, well done!

regards.

Looking at the matrix, I'd also say Paltechioceras - but show us the keel, please, Andy !
