Found this interesting item on the beach. It has a structure that resembles a tooth. I'm 100% a noob at fossils and this could be a piece off a boat but I'm hoping it's not... Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm pretty sure it isn't a fossil and to me it looks like flint, but might be ceramic.

Maybe a rejected piece of glazed wear, could have collapsed in kiln, looks folded  very worn but edges do look straight
