Hi to all,
found this fossil a lifetime ago when a child, can't remember the exact location but would have been from the 'Jurrasic coast' somewhere between Lulworth and Charmouth, Dorset.
I am ashamed to admit that over the years I have never tried to get a positive id for it and always assumed it was a fish vertebrae.
Now that I've retired and have 'time on my hands' again my interest in fossils and fossil hunting has been rekindled.
So over to the experts for a id please, spieces name would be very useful too as I'm photographing and cataloging my collection at present.

Hello Tony and welcome to the forum. I think it's a shark vertebra rather than a fish. Seems more 'robust' to me.
