Went on our very first fossil hunting mid week and had a great time! now consider myself a full time beginner enthusiast!

found this on the last day at Seatown- looks to me like a fish- maybe and eye socket? and vertibrae?
its really heavy like  a lump of iron.

if anyone can shed any light on my find id be most grateful? also the age of the thing would be nice to know.

i cant embed the pictures as i am still waiting for my membership to be approved on the forum!
