Hi all, found this fossil yesterday in the Bedfordshire Gault. Seems to be an assemblage of shark verts and other bits - does anyone know what it is? Are the other bits in the rock fossils or just concretions? I can see the vert but the rest looks a lot like wood because it has the rings in it. Hmmmmm, strange you don’t usually see the two together, that’s very odd. Nice find!
