Good evening all,

i am spending the weekend on Great Yarmouth, Norfolk this weekend.

We we went to Happisburgh today, as Mammoth molars are supposedly “common”. We started at the lighthouse car park and made our way north along the foreshore.

After 8 hours of search we found absolutely nothing at all.

I just wondered if anyone was familiar with the area and had some kind and useful times of the best areas?

Thanks again guys

Hi seager,

I know Happisburgh beach pretty well. Collectors say they regularly find stuff but they seem to search the bay to the south of the car park. The north side has to be walked cautiously - it's very easy to be cut off by the tide if you go as far as the timber breakwaters...I had to wade back in January with a lot of camera kit!
