Hi everyone.

I'm super new to this forum. I recently spent a socially distant day at Lyme Regis with my 6yr old and 4yr old. Whilst walking along The Cobb I found what I believed could be a fossil but I don't have any idea what it is or could be?! Any expert advice or information would be greatly appreciated, especially from my enthused children.

Many thanks. Click image for larger version - Name: 20200611_203522.jpg, Views: 55, Size: 207.53 KB

Hello, yes! you found a fossil; a small ammonite to be precise...; I must warn you : pickin`up fossils is seriously addictive...

Congrats and greets, Bert

the search is as valuable as the finds...
