Hi, can anyone tell me anything about this?. Fairly (but not ridiculously) heavy , hardness about 4 , white streak , no reaction with 10% HCl . Inclusions don't photograph well but under x40 look like iron filings.I'm leaning towards Barite but just a guess. Found at bottom of museum drawer but no information. Thanks. Assume the orange colour is Fe impurities but do I see a blue tinge? If so how about Celestine?

Thanks Pete, but it's just the light - the whole thing looked like amber under fluorescent light! . I'll bear it in mind as we do have Celestine locally (Dorset)

Me again - just tried flame test and you're right. Thanks - the fact it wasn't blue fooled me - you eyes must be better than mine!
