Hi All,

I was at Hampstead on the Isle of Wight today for a quick hour and found some goodies.

This is only my second attempt at hunting and I believe I have found.....

Claw
Turtle Caracas
Skin imprints
Vertebrae
Plants

Could I get anymore information on the above please.

My impression

* The claw looks dinosaur to me
* Piece of turtle I have seen so not 100%
* These are cool. The larger one looks a hand/foot. You can see tendon rises and almost splits like toes. Although could just be a mud formation.
* The vertebrae is 100% a vertebrae but I would really like to know from the size a range of animals it could be.
* Plants, these look a bit like thorns maybe coral?

Apologies for the photos my camera is very poor.  Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210148.jpg, Views: 43, Size: 522.64 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210710.jpg, Views: 43, Size: 220.59 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210305.jpg, Views: 40, Size: 85.15 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_205920.jpg, Views: 41, Size: 102.89 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_211133.jpg, Views: 38, Size: 235.58 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210757.jpg, Views: 40, Size: 82.38 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210333.jpg, Views: 40, Size: 239.58 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_211116.jpg, Views: 41, Size: 230.96 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210723.jpg, Views: 37, Size: 240.90 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210325.jpg, Views: 37, Size: 88.12 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_211149.jpg, Views: 35, Size: 172.47 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210400.jpg, Views: 32, Size: 128.51 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210040.jpg, Views: 30, Size: 459.70 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210123.jpg, Views: 25, Size: 427.46 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210845.jpg, Views: 25, Size: 69.04 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210444.jpg, Views: 25, Size: 116.84 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210107.jpg, Views: 22, Size: 341.69 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210559.jpg, Views: 23, Size: 177.78 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210627.jpg, Views: 28, Size: 95.29 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210944.jpg, Views: 27, Size: 137.49 KB Click image for larger version - Name: IMG_20190923_210617.jpg, Views: 26, Size: 121.92 KB

Hi there
IMHO they all look like pyritic concretions, of different shapes and sizes.
But I'm no expert, so... good luck!

Hi, I'n afraid your 'claw' is a piece of water eorn stone. The disc shapeed object is a vertebra, I think fish. No. 7 might be something pat can't tell from that picyure and can't match it up to other photos. 10 - 14 - various partial nodules, 15 looks like pyritised twig.

The only fossil i can see in here is the fish vertebra. Keep looking! And make sure you familiarise yourself with the texture of fossil bone. Texture is the most important thing to look for, shapes are often deceiving.
