Hello

We hit quite a low tide yesterday in Hunstanton and my wife found a nice fossil. It was quite far from the clifs, almost where the beach rocks end.
I thought I would share.

It looks like two ammonites, doesn't it?

Thanks

HI
I think it is Deshayesites ammonite from the Lower Greensand. And yes there does appear to be two of them. Good find.

Nice Find!
Looking forward to searching there this summer.  I spent years going to Hunstanton every summer and winter holiday and had no clue what I was walking all over 😉
