We seem to be getting a lot of "please ID this" without any photos. I'm sure people realise they'd better add a photo, so I wonder if there's something in the (mobile?) interface that makes people think they've added a photo when in fact they haven't???

Hi MFM, I emailed Alister this morning - see his reply below

"It is only attachments that are restricted, all they need to do is use the photo button on the toolbar, but this needs to be done on the desktop version only as the mobile version only supports attachments."

"I’ve changed the system to allow attachments for all members (Newbies as well). We have to approve newbie post anyway, so I cant see any issues. I was more concerned with people attaching ‘naughty’ images and using our site to host them."

Thanks Colin, that seems to explain the problems newbies have been having when (presumably) using their mobiles (maybe while on holiday where they found whatever).
