This rock was seen on the Meon Shore near Southampton. The exposed rock is about 5 x 4 feet ID would be much appreciated.

Is it...…
a) sarsen with root holes - sarsens are common here but I have not seen 'lined' root holes before
b) carbonate concretion
c) septarian nodule
d) something else?

I think it's a very worn Septarian nodule.
