Scrumps I think it's a type of Peronoceras, stonetreasures do this for you ? Do you pop your finds down to them to get prepped ? Thanks.

Beautiful specimen Scumpy, really good prep work to keep those spines on!

It's a beauty!
Being so thick and chunky, I think it could be a spiney Catacoeloceras
If Peronoceras, I'd go for P. subarmatum
Take a look at AndyS' website: https://andysfossils.com/2015/07/05/whats-in-a-name-catacoeloceras/
or https://andysfossils.com/2014/01/03/looped-ribs-and-spiny-tubercles-peronoceras/

Hello, the looped ribs are telltale sign of a Peronoceras  subarmatum and an extreme one at that.
Lovely ammonite, the prep needs just a tiny bit more work and it will be a stunner...

greetings, Bert
the search is as valuable as the finds...

Here is a dac they done from the same box
I don’t think the pic does it justice. They’ve prepped it so the nodule is like a bowl Click image for larger version - Name: 74087577-A098-409C-BF33-A7AE58E77D9A.jpeg, Views: 50, Size: 2.15 MB

Cheers, have some that need doing, they seem a lot cheaper than most, I would need to drive down though...

Fantastic finds, not a fan of the prep job though, can still see the pen marks.
