I picked this up because I thought the concave section was reminiscent of a vertebra. Looking closely, I think it's probably just a coincidence and is just a broken piece of limestone but before I throw it, please can someone confirm- something or nothing? There is an internal mould of an indeterminate bivalve shell on the second set of photos.  Otherwise, the resemblance to a vertebra is coincidental, as you suspected.
