Hi,

Can anyone help identify what this is? I found it on the bank of the river Severn near Tewkesbury.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum Simon. What you have found is an internal cast of part of a 'tree' root called Stimaria from the Carboniferous age around 320 million years old.
