This fossil is 2 cm by 2cm and has 5 stripes, I found it in Grafham water. Which is a man made resivior in East Anglia. If anyone knows what this is please let me know as I can't find anything that looks like it. Hello Emilymay and welcome to the forum. I'm pretty sure this is not a fossil I'm afraid, probably a tiny piece of banded flint? I have adjusted your photo below.
