Hi all I found these yesterday are they fossils? and can I take them from beach?, they were below the tide line.

Hi Beano15,
They are fossil ripple marks. Unless prohibited by the land owner/council I don't see why you couldn't take a sample. They are quite a common sedimentary structure however.

Just noticed your identical post on locations (Tenby), which would make them probably Carboniferous in age.

Hi, yes they are from Waterwynch Beach below the tide line.
