Tell you what is interesting,  if I had posted a picture of a eliptical piece of flint and asked "is this a fossil banana?" I would have got lots of responses, mostly highly scientific and overbearing.
No one is interested in looking at decent specimens it seems. Shan't bother sharing in the future.

Hi scrumpy, I have not been out for a while, my wife died last year at 33 and then I broke my spine in three places. I'm well on my way to recovery now though. Hoping to get back to it soon.

I just think that when a newbie thinks that a belemnite is a raptor tooth there is no point in burying them with vast amounts of mostly irrelevant information as almost always happens on here. Post something interesting and nobody gives a S.
Most collectors will never even see a Cocosteos never mind own one. Makes me not want to bother with this forum sometimes.

Nomadiclifeguide, don't be too disheartened if nobody comments. I'm sure many people appreciate seeing them without commenting. The important thing is the joy of finding them and taking pride in prepping them. I too have suffered great loss in my life and I find fossil hunting a wonderful therapy. Keep on fossiling dude 👍
