Hello can anyone advise on any methods of keeping scribe points sharp please? I have both chisel and point tips but In particular the chisel tip am really not sure and id rather not wear it away needlessly! I only have a dremel and diamond cutting disc which has minor success on the pointed tip but am loath to try the chisel on it.

I use a diamond file that I got from a garden centre, normally used to sharpen secateurs.

Works for me.

Nope,

it's a hand held small file, you just need a couple of rubs with it to sharpen a point or chisel.

When I get home I'll take a pic of it.
